Author-led tours: the route before the booking
Paganel is a travel brand built around tours its author leads in person. The site had one job: help a stranger trust a route before paying for it.
- Route stories carry the page. An aggregator sells a destination. A tour with a named guide sells a sequence of days and the person holding them together.
- Departure dates next to the story. Interest peaks while the route is still on screen. Sending the reader to a calendar on another page cools that off.
- A request instead of a cart. A tour seat carries too much money for an add-to-cart button. The flow ends with a booking request, and the conversation starts with real dates in hand.
- No shelf to compare prices on. The brand does not stand in a row of near-identical offers, so nothing on the page invites that arithmetic.
Author-led travel sells the route and the guide. Show both, then let the request form speak.
