Rebuilding My Site for the Solopreneur Path
Rebuilding My Site for the Solopreneur Path
What Was Before
The old site was a portfolio showcase — 131 projects, filtered by tags, nice cards. Good for "look what I built." Bad for "hire me" or "buy my product."
Problems:
- No clear path from "I like your work" → "let's work together"
- Blog/ideas mixed with projects, no clear product narrative
- No playground for experiments/notes (where the real learning happens)
- No clear product funnel — just a contact form
What Changed (This Week)
New structure:
/ → Hero: "Independent designer, vibe coder & solopreneur in progress"
/services (Work) → 3 formats: Project / Partnership / Consulting
/projects → Curated showcase (20-40 hand-picked) + full archive
/playground → 4 shelves: Experiments, Product Logs, Case Studies, Notes
/about → Timeline (2019→2026) + "What's next"
/contact (Connect) → 4 doors: Project / Collab / Consulting / Support
Why this structure:
/services= the "hire me" funnel (fixed quote, 3 formats)/playground= the "here's how I think" funnel (builds trust before hire)/about= the credibility anchor (15 years, 131 projects, real timeline)/contact= one form, 4 doors, pre-filled from referring page
What's Next (The Product Funnel)
Playground → Products:
- Case studies → proof I can ship
- Notes → proof I think deeply about craft
- Product logs → proof I'm building my own products
- Experiments → proof I'm still learning
First products in pipeline:
- Design+Code starter kit — Next.js + Neon + Supabase + Tailwind + Framer Motion, pre-configured with my patterns
- Figma → v0 → Supabase template — The exact pipeline from Note #1, packaged
- Thai localization kit — EN/TH glossary, Noto Sans Thai setup, Thai date formatting, Thai PWA manifest
Timeline: First product (starter kit) targeting Q1 2027. Playground content feeds the funnel — every case study/note/log is a demo of what the product teaches.
Why This Structure Works
Old mental model: "Portfolio proves I'm good" → Contact form → Maybe hire
New mental model: "Playground proves I think like you" → Services page → Fixed quote → Ship
The playground isn't a blog. It's the proof layer. Every case study, note, and product log is a demo of the methodology I sell.
